The aim of the project is to provide children the elements to start recognizing and integrating themselves in the territory in which they live; this concept is the guideline for the whole design process. The L-shaped system offers the possibility of defining different types of spaces: the access square, the park towards the new cycle path and the garden for the exclusive use of the kindergarten; this disposition also allows a clear separation between the kindergarten and the adjacent elementary school while maintaining the possibility of connection between the existing kitchen and the canteen of the new kindergarten.
