The project implements the client’s target in architectural language. The new buildings together with the existing auditorium / canteen define an open central square that is available as a meeting point for the citizens of the district and for the students. The two schools – Lise-Meitner Gymnasium and Ossenmoorpark School – are placed in one building. The building, which revolves with ist shape around a common courtyard, forms a strong recognition and a “us-feeling” for the students.
Each school has its own space for educational activities; nevertheless the traffic areas, which also serve as communication areas, allow the interaction between the two schools.
